Shopping: First world problems edition

I decided to go shopping today and try on some smaller outfits, since I’ve been losing weight. It’s been a little over a month and I’ve lost 14+ lbs, and I can already see a huge difference in the clothes I can pull off.

My current FWP issue is that I want to buy this adorable dress at Urban Outfitters. I tried on a Medium, and it fit me currently (which is UNHEARD of by the way, Urban’s clothes are so fucking small!) I wanted to buy it, but then I realized, what’s the point of spending $80 on a dress that will be too big in a month?

Should I go back and buy a Small tomorrow and save it? I’m thinking about it because I really, really don’t want to wait too long and not be able to get the dress eventually. They don’t even have all of the colors  available online (in fact, they only have the black & white ones online, which is bullshit because it comes in a gorgeous blue, red, and yellow!), so I can’t just order it online later or whatever…

Anyone? Go buy a size smaller and save it?

  2. apoehlergize answered: BUY A SMALLER SIZE. Motivation! But I agree with swallowingmatches. Try it on first for body type reasons. But a medium at Urban? YOU GO GIRL
  3. swallowingmatches answered: You might want to try on the small size first and see just how small it is, and if it’d be realistic for your body type to eventually fit it
