I’m twenty, I look twelve, and feel thirty-five. I’ll probably become best friends with your mom (not your dad, he’s an asshole) or your teacher or your gay uncle.

If you want to truly understand who I am at the core of my personality, read the following books: Tina Fey’s Bossypants, and Jill Soloway’s Tiny Ladies in Shiny Pants. Don’t look too hard into the fact that “pants” is a part of both of those titles, because I actually really enjoy wearing dresses. But pants are a solid choice, too.

• I worship NBC with every fiber of my being, rainbow peacock for life! I will one day have an office in 30 Rock and I’ll grin and giggle uncontrollably with excitement every morning as I walk into work

• I have gay guys in different area codes. I’m a fag-hag extraordinaire. Are you a gay man with extensive knowledge of Broadway, Real Housewives, and Dance Moms? Well, you’ve found your girl!
• Sometimes my lady hero Tina Fey, personally tells me which restaurants I should eat at, and I do.
• And sometimes I have the most wonderful luck and meet some of my favorite humans.

• I’m Emma and my last name is super long and annoying.
• I’m gonna change my last name ASAP to my middle name, which is Blair. Because “Emma Blair” just sounds super classy and better for professional life.
• Relationship status: Liz Lemon.
• I’m nineteen and a sophomore at Columbia College Chicago, which is an art school in downtown Chicago.
• That being said, I live right in downtown Chicago, as this is the view from out of my window.
• But I grew up in Michigan. I lived in Livonia (a suburb of Detroit) for most of my life, and then in the middle of high school I moved to Saugatuck (right on the coast of Lake Michigan) which is literally the gay capital of the Midwest. Yes, there is such a place. In fact, this video that the LOGO channel filmed pretty much perfectly captures my town.
  
• Speaking of the gays, I’m the biggest fag hag um, ever. Everyone that knows me will attest to that. I live a Will & Grace life, to say the least. And as Leslie Knope would say “I guess I’m kinda like, Queen of the Gays!”

• I’m also a Television Writing/Production major Columbia (oh yeah, double timing it!) which I absolutely adore! Basically, it’s my goal to become to next-generation Tina Fey.
• In order to pursue my Tina Fey life goal even further, I’m currently taking improv classes at iO (formerly ImprovOlympic), aka where Tina got her start in improv and subsequently met her husband and other marvelous people like Rachel Dratch and Amy Poehler.
  
• Oh and remember that Ask Tina question about Chicago restaurants and what to order there? Well, that was my question! Which means that Tina, my lady hero, vaguely knows of me.
• Besides Tina, my other lady heroes include Rachel Griffiths, Megan Mullally, and Alice Ripley.
• As evidenced by the content of my Tumblr, television is my life. I’m basically just a less naive Kenneth Parcell. The NBC chimes are my text message ringtone and all of my other ringtones are all TV show theme songs.
• My favorite show of all time is Six Feet Under. In all seriousness, I would not be an artist today if I hadn’t fallen in love with that show.
• The other shows that have my heart are Will & Grace, 30 Rock, Parks and Recreation, The Office (when it was still good), Sex and the City, Arrested Development, Big Love, United States of Tara, Brothers & Sisters, and Modern Family. I also spend a lot of time watching Bravo reality shows like the Real Housewives.
